Manchester City Guardiola also has sex curfew for his players
Since taking over as boss at the Etihad, Guardiola has set up strict rules and regulations his players must adhere to.
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is not leaving any stone untouched in his bid to make the club the best in England and Europe.
Since taking over as boss at the Etihad, Guardiola has set up strict rules and regulations his players must adhere to. From
staying away from pizza to cutting of wifi at the club’s training
centre, the new coach is not going soft on his squad anytime soon.
According to Samir Nasri who left Manchester City on loan to Sevilla over the summer, Guardiola also imposed a sex curfew on his players.
According to the French player, the coach has banned sex after midnight for his players.
“Relations must be before midnight – even if you have a free day the following day. It’s so you can have a good night’s sleep,” Nasri told L’ÉQUIPE du soir on Monday, November 14.
“He
told us this is how he managed to get the best out of Messi and
Lewandowski, and for them to avoid the maximum number of muscular
injuries.
“He will do everything to make you progress, to get you to know how to position yourself and how to play. He’s a picky person.”
Nasri has been in fine form since he sealed a loan move to Sevilla from Manchester City.
