Super Falcons Coach Omagbemi wants improvement from her players after 6-0 thrashing of Mali
As they prepare for a much tougher opposition in Ghana Omagbemi wants her players to remain focus.
Coach of the Super Falcons of Nigeria, Florence Omagbemi says she wants her team to improve after they whooped Mali 6-0 in their opening game of the 2016 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations.
Asisat Oshoala hit four goals while Francisca Ordega and Uchechi Sunday were also on target as the Super Falcons tore Mali apart.
As
they prepare for a much tougher opposition in Ghana on Wednesday,
November 23, Omagbemi wants her players to remain focus and not get
carried away.
"I will say that's the rhyme of the team and a way of getting themselves on top before they start a game," Omagbemi said after the 6-0 win over Mali.
"We just in the process, this is our first game for the group stage. Our target here is just to take every game as it comes.
"We
know we are through with Mali and we are looking at the Ghana team to
come up next. Our focus here is just to defend the title we won in 2014.
That's all."
