The xx announce Sampha, Joy Orbison, Kelela and others as support for Brixton Academy shows

The trio line up some of their favorite artists and DJs for March’s sold-out residency.

The xx have picked a dazzling array of artists and DJs, including Joy Orbison, Cat Power, Kelela, Ben UFO and Sampha, to appear as guests at their upcoming run of Brixton Academy show in support of their new album I See You.

The seven-date residency – which is a continuation of the ‘Night + Day’ series the band started in 2013 – kicks off on March 8 with Sampha and Joy Orbison as support, while the following night will see Ben UFO and Beatrice Dillon go B2B with Kelela also performing. The residency finishes up on March 15 with a live band show from Floating Points and Gilles Peterson.
