Sunderland relegated from Premier League at 10 seasons
Sunderland has been relegated to the Championship after losing 1-0 to Bournemouth on Saturday, ending its 10-year run in the Premier League.
Joshua King’s 88th-minute strike leaves Sunderland 13 points adrift with four games remaining, making it mathematically impossible for the Black Cats to climb out of the relegation zone.
Middlesbrough and Swansea City are 19th and 18th, respectively. Boro is seven points away from safety with a game in hand, while Swansea is three back with four matches left in its season.
