SWA - Tithes and Offerings


Test: Malachi 3:8-1, 2 Chronicles 31:5

MEMORY VERSE: Malachi 3:8
"Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings "

INTRODUCTION :
tithes and offerings is a command given to us by God, which we should not disobey. "Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in my house,... " it is a tenth of your produce, property or dedicationto the house of God, which we should not fail to do.

LESSON :
Tithe is a privilege, and an expression of faith. It is different from your offering money. As you tithe you show obedience to God and, appreciation expression of your faith and therefore many blessings awaits, pursue and overtake you.

From our memory verse (Malachi 3:8) you rob God, asking how and where you've robed him. And God is telling you today that you rob him by not bringing in your tithes and offerings into his storehouse.

If you are a true believer and claims to obey God's commands and don't bring your tithes and offerings to the house of God your obedience is questionable.

CONCLUSION :
You ought to pay your tithes for your own good. Do not rob God, it is very dangerous. And the consequences awaits you.
